Lead Pastor, David Amsden, pioneered Navigation Church in 2013. From the start his driving force was to simply help people take their next step in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor David desired to pastor well and lead his team with excellence. To that end, he requested strategic partners join him in creating, managing, and developing Navigation Church. David continued to attend conferences and participate in online courses, submitting himself to personal mentorship. In addition, he purposefully gleaned wisdom from national and international church networks. Who to this day provide a broader depth of modern day church building principles.
All that combined created a team of leaders who were walking in a renewed faith and the church continued to grow. Pastor David knew he needed an integral team member to impact more people. In 2014, he took a step of faith and met with another local pastor, Brent Johnson. He felt their two churches complemented each other and might be better as one. So, after much prayer and counsel from specific oversight, Navigation Church and Faith Bible Chapel blended on December 21, 2014. God instantly blessed this endeavor with continued growth and impact on the communities they represented. In fact, they added additional pastoral staff members to fulfill the call to pastor communities and disciple individuals.
Today, an ever-growing ministry team continues to serve all those who encounter Navigation Church. They are committed to the mission of helping people take their next step in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
