John 20:24-29
Discussion topics
- At the beginning of the sermon Pastor David said, “We are living in a time of great skepticism.” Without going down too many rabbit trails or getting off into political, social or economic conversations, do you agree with this statement? How do you think the time that we are living has changed you and how you have interacted with the world around you? Is this a good or bad thing?
- Take some time to read John 20:24-29 and as you do explore what the scriptures are saying to you. There is no wrong way or right way to answer this question. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and your NavGroup to an emotional and spiritual place and not just a mental place of facts and figures. (See Below *)
- In John 11:16 is says “Then Thomas (also known as Didymus ) said to the rest of the disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him”.” We know Thomas was absent from the cross, not with all the disciples, and eventually began questioning all that he believed in? Is there something that could happen, occur or take place that would make you question your faith in Jesus?
