Historical Miracle
Have you ever considered all that the Christian faith has gone through over time? From the likelihood of Jesus being born when he was, to the hardships Christian faith has faced from opposing ideologies to the unimaginable obstacles it took to canonize our scriptures? This week we look at the miracle that is not just Christmas, but other miracles that have taken place for you to know of the virgin birth today.

1. When you read the following facts about the Bible, what do you think of?
Authorship:
The Bible was written by over 40 different authors from various backgrounds.
Authors include kings, shepherds, fishermen, prophets, and others.
Time Span:
The Bible was written over a period of approximately 1,500 years.
The earliest books (e.g., Genesis) were written around 1400–1200 B.C., and the latest (e.g., Revelation) in the first century A.D.
Languages:
The Bible was written in three main languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
The Old Testament is primarily in Hebrew, with portions in Aramaic.
The New Testament is in Greek.
Genres:
The Bible contains various literary genres, including historical narrative, poetry, prophecy, letters, and apocalyptic literature.
Consistency:
Despite having multiple authors, the Bible maintains a consistent message and theme throughout.
It presents a unified story of God’s interaction with humanity.
