Discussion topics
- 2 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “As for you, my son, be strong through the grace that is ours in union with Christ Jesus. Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to reliable people, who will be able to teach others also”. What part of this scripture sticks out to you? What does it mean that you have been entrusted?
- Take time to share with one another phrases that you have heard your father, or a father figure, say all the time. Is it something that you should live by now? Do you think the phrase is biblical in nature?
- On Sunday Pastor David pointed out the successes and failings of many men of the bible, such as Adam, Abraham, Jacob, Saul, David and Eli. When you see people like this in the Bible how does it make you feel? What does it say about God and the people he chooses? How can this encourage you in your life?
