It’s become a tradition that the month of November has been dubbed the “Month of Gratitude”. In keeping in step with this tradition, we are exploring how gratitude is a lot more than just saying thank you…it’s a matter of perspective. Join Pastor Aaron this week as he shares his gratitude perspective and how in order to find gratitude we must look for grace.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:15-18

Discussion Topics:
  1. Read 2 Corinthians 4:15. Here Paul is telling us that on-going grace creates thanksgiving (or gratitude) among those receiving grace. How do you define grace? And why is it that gratitude should follow when grace is shown to us?
  2. As seen in Saul/Paul’s life, gratitude is grace realized. As a group go through the 3 practical steps Pastor Aaron shared to finding gratitude in your own life, and share how you personally can see His grace evident.
    • Remember the grace you have been shown in your own life
    • Identify times when you were shown grace this week
    • Look to your future with advanced gratitude for the grace He promises
  3. Gratitude is not dependent on a momentary personal relationship or experience. It is found in the grace we are shown each and every day. But how do we keep our attitude of gratitude in check when life is difficult and overwhelming? How do you realistically not lose focus of gratitude?
