Holy Spirit is a Person
You most likely know that the trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. Why is it that the Spirit is so mystical, so confusing, and so misunderstood? This week we look at the person, which is made up of a mind, will, and emotions. And if you don’t know the person how can you have a personal relationship with him?

Discussion topics
1. What part of Sunday’s sermon was the most revealing, the most challenging, and/or the most confusing? Take time as a NavGroup to share your thoughts, feelings, and revelations about how the Holy Spirit is a person.
2. Pastor David said “If you do not see the Holy Spirit as a person how can you have a personal relationship with him”? At this point of your faith and understanding, do you see the Holy Spirit as a person? Would you say you have a personal relationship with him the same way you have a relationship with Jesus?
3. If the Holy Spirit isn’t a person or has a personality, then how can he grieve? Read Ephesians 4:25-30 and ask the question – “Where do I personally currently grieve the Holy Spirit?”
