I am Victorious – Words

This morning we continue our conversation on I am Victorious to focus in on our speech.  Our words have the power of life and death over our lives and the lives of others.  To walk in victory, consider where you need to adjust your communication to yourself and look at how you effect those around you as you interact.
Scripture: Matthew 15:10-11

Discussion Topics:

1. Read Matthew 15:10-11 and discuss the power that words have in your life.
2. Our words have power over the lives of others (reference Colossians 4:6). Where is there a place in your life where words have hurt you? Where is there a place where words have blessed you?
3. Point #2 of Pastor’s sermon focused on how our words can affect our future. Do you agree or disagree with that thought?  If so why?
4. When it comes to your words they impact no one more than you. In regards to the voice in your head, whose side is it normally on? Are your words for you or against you?
