The Dream Giver – Take courage

As we continue our series and focus on the life of Joseph, courage for the journey is needed.  The pursuit of the dream takes work, courage, and perseverance.  You will have obstacles to overcome and sometimes your emotions will get the best of you.   Scripture: Genesis 37

Discussion Topics:

1. Take some time to talk about Joseph’s emotional state of being in Genesis 37. If you were him, how would you be feeling in this situation? (You better not “Christianize” this question… be real)
2. What do you think of the phrase, “God will let you believe what you need to in order to get you where He wants you”? Do you agree or disagree?
3. One of the things Joseph realized is when he (the dreamer) shared with his brothers (the non-dreamers) it created conflict. Have you ever shared a dream or passion with someone who could not handle your dream? What was the outcome?
