Moses
Moses is one of the most well-known characters of the Bible. Versions of his story have even been told by Hollywood movies and DreamWorks Animation. His story has captured and inspired many. And during our current series, Good Old Stories, we look at the narrative of his life and, together, we will examine a grander narrative God was telling through his life to us today. We will see how Moses set out on a journey of justice and discovered something even more.

- Moses is a fairly popular story that you may have heard about a lot. But did something different or new stand out to you as we looked at the overall story of his life together?
- Looking at the story of Moses’ life we see that he was born with a passion for justice. We also see that he had moments of failing at pursuing that passion, but then later moments in life of living out that passion well. Do you have a passion you live for? Share it with the group. Have you learned lessons while pursuing it or experienced successes as you have pursued it?
- God used Moses to start a covenant relationship with the Israelites. And one of the tools God used for helping them to keep the covenant were the 10 commandments and laws to live by. They had lived under the rule of Egypt and suffered. But how do these laws of God differ from what they once knew?
- Moses’ journey of justice always carried with it miracles of mercy God had planned for him and the nation of Israel. In your own life, as you have been on and continue in your own journey, what moments can you look back at and see the mercy of God in?
