In our every day lives we run into people that are simply difficult to deal with. But what happens when the difficult people are the ones God is calling us to mercy? Join Pastor David as we look together at how mercy is patient with difficult people.

1. Pastor David identified six practices for dealing with difficult people in your life.  In which of these practices does God seem to be giving you the greatest “opportunity” to grow right now?
2. Today’s memory verse says, “Mercy triumphs over judgment” James 2:13b NIV.  Why is mercy so important to God?

The Bible says, “Clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience …Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony” Colossians 3:12b, 14 NLT.  What does it mean to “clothe yourself” with those things, and how can you do it?
4. The Bible says, “Ask God to bless those who persecute you – yes, ask him to bless, not to curse” Romans 12:14 TEV.  How will you respond if God answers that prayer by blessing your enemy?
