Join us and allow God to free you from the past you can’t change and the future you won’t be able to control.

Discussion topics
1. Which part of this message stood out most to you? Do you deal with, or suffer with too much worry or anxiety?
2. Pastor stated that, “Worry is focusing on a future you can’t control and anxiety is focusing on a past you can’t change”. Do you agree with this statement or disagree? Take some time to discuss it and try to restate it in your own words.
3. Matthew 6:30 states, “If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?”. What is faith to you?
4. Pastor gave four practical steps to learn to say no:
- Rehearse – Ask yourself the questions and rehearse the way you wish you would say it.
- Be Honest – There is never a reason to lie about why you are saying no.
- Offer Alterations – Sometimes providing another way can help prevent you from saying yes.
- Do Not Rush – You don’t need to say no to everything but give yourself time to think through the commitment and consequences.
Which of these are you good at and which of these do you need to work on?
