1. What part of the book of Ruth stands out to you the most? Was there a specific lesson from Sunday’s sermon that impacted you?
2. Pastor David showed that when Naomi and her husband, Elimelech, left Bethlehem to live in the land of Moab, it paralleled leaving God’s place of provision and seeking life from another source. Is there a place in your life where you keep trying to find life outside of healthy, God provided places?
3. Naomi decided to return home and told her two daughter-in-laws to go back to their parent’s house since both of their husbands had died. Orpah returned home while Ruth stayed with Naomi. Pastor David said there are places in your life that you need to “kiss goodbye”. They are places you do not have the strength to carry because they were not supposed to be part of your future. What places in your life do you need to “kiss goodbye”?
