Practical Teachings
As we begin practical teachings in week #1 of our 5 Ps series, Pastor David will reveal 5 specific tools God uses for discipling. An individual will never become a different person until the Scriptures become alive to them in a practical way. Exposure to the Word is different than understanding and applying the Word. This week we are studying Matthew 7:24-29 to learn about the spiritual tool known as “Practical Teachings”.

- Read and discuss Matthew 7:24-29. In your own words, what is Jesus saying in the passage? How, in a practical way, does this look in your life?
- We kicked off our 5 Ps sermon series talking about “Practical Teachings”. What would you say that phrase or this sermon means to you? Has there been a specific way in the past that you have been applying the Word of God in your life? If so, please share that with your group.
- This next question is meant to be a bible study/Google opportunity. Where in your life are you struggling, needing to grow, looking for God to change you? Once you have identified that thing, take a moment to look up a scripture that would tell you how to handle it from a biblical perspective and/or give you Godly insight.
