As believers, we always need to be ready to give a defense for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15). Sadly, many of us are crippled by fear and self-doubt when it comes to sharing our faith. In this 7-day video devotional, you will learn to share your powerful story of faith with confidence.
Scripture: Philemon 1:6 (NIV)Discussion Topics:

  1. This past Sunday we discovered that people have a testimony because they have gone through a test. All tests have a beginning, a middle and a end. All too often people get lost “in the middle”. Are you in the middle of something right now and are you looking for your water walking Jesus? (Mark 6:45-50)
  2. On day 1 of this week reading of “How To Share Your Story”, Miles McPherson described two lines in eternity. One line is headed to hell and one line is headed to heaven. Miles then described a what if scenario of you standing in the heaven line and a friend of yours yelling from the hell line asking why you never shared the gospel. What did you think of this scenario and were you able to identify three people for your list?
  3. Read and discuss Philemon 1:6.
  4. On Sunday the definition of Evangelism was: telling people what was wrong with you not what is wrong with them. What do you think of this definition? As a group, practice your testimony.
