David’s Mighty Men were not the kind of men who ran away when they were afraid. They were boot camp trained, battle tested, and their stories are some of the most epic heroic scenerios in all of scripture. Benaiah was one of those men. His resume is as follows:

- He was the head of David’s personal bodyguard
- He took the place as commander of the armies for Israel
- He killed an impressive Egyptian man
