Discussion Topics:

  1. In Sunday’s message Pastor David stated we are created by God to make a difference in this world. He went as far as to say you were uniquely created to make a difference. Considering Steps 1 & 2, what are some ways the Holy Spirit prompts you to make a difference with your life regardless of if it is a big or small request? What is a faith step you could take?
  2. With Step 3, we all have times where we experienced setbacks. Take a moment to share one such moment and then read Ephesians 6:12. How did you discover you were in a spiritual battle and not only a physical battle? And how can you encourage someone in your group today who is currently facing a setback?
  3. Little glimmers of hope in the midst of a setback encourages us that we are on the right path. How does God given you little glimmers of hope in your own life? Are they through the simple words of a friend? Or maybe a small experience that reminds you why you started a life in that direction to begin with?
  4. Considering Step 6, what makes it difficult for you to love selflessly, do whatever you believe is right, and trust God with the results? What makes it easier?
