This past week we received questions regarding relationships through our social media sites.  Pastors Aaron, Brent, and David have teamed up to answer your questions and tackle those hard to handle relationships through a biblical perspective.Scripture: Matthew 6:1-18

Discussion Topics:

  1. Pastor David explained how God gave five key characteristics in Genesis 2 that a man should have in order to be the “ideal husband”. He should be found in Eden (also known as the presence of God), he should work (have a job), he should cultivate (make things around him grow), he should guard (protect that which he is called to) and know the Word (that which God has spoken). Is this the kind of man you are?  Is this the kind of man you are looking for or have in a relationship?
  2. One question that was asked this week – “How do I dive into a deeper relationship with God”? The key area they touched on was private disciplines found in Matthew 6:1-18. Of the three disciplines — giving, prayer, and fasting — which ones do you feel you are good at doing and which ones need improvement? Read the Matthew passage that relates with your struggle and discuss.
  3. Here is one of the questions from online: “What should you do if you see a coworker doing something unethical or unprofessional? ” How would you answer this question?
