sorry is not a game, accept blame, be sorry

Today’s conversation, the second in a three part series, helps you to know how to be sorry when you find yourself needing to. The first step is to accept blame and the second is to be sorry.
Scripture: 2 Samuel 12:1-13

Discussion Topics:

  1. What are your thoughts on the 2 Samuel 12:1-13 passage covered this past Sunday? Is there anything about the story you do not understand? What are your personal thoughts on the way Nathan went about confronting King David?
  2. Personally speaking, describe what happens inside of you — mentally, physically and emotionally — when you have unforgiveness towards someone else.
  3. The Psalms of repentance in Psalms was what King David wrote after Nathan confronted him. Take time to do a Bible study of Psalms 51:1-12. Dissect the Psalms line by line and, if possible, have multiple translations of the verse to compare perspectives.
