sorry is not a game, accept blame, be sorry
This morning Pastor David wraps up our Sorry is Not a Game series with the final insights on a proper apology. They include changing our thinking and adopting another view of situations. You will be able to use this new way of thinking in your next apology encounter.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 7:10

Discussion Topics:

  1. Our theme verse for this three week series has been 2 Corinthians 7:10 which says, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death“. In your own words, describe what this verse now means to you.
  2. Psalms 32 is a psalm that David wrote during the time period when Nathan confronted him and the loss of his child. Read Psalms 32 and discuss what David is saying in this psalm. (Note: you may want to read multiple translations)
  3. In his talk Pastor David explained that pride is the number one thing we have to overcome in order to apologize properly. Do you agree or disagree? If this is something you agree with why do you think this statement is true?
