Still Moving – Lost

In our final week of Still Moving we look at how God looks at us.  In the gospel of Luke 15 Jesus shares three parables: going after a lost sheep, finding a lost coin, and the return of a prodigal son. All three of these parables give us insight to the love filter that God views us through.

Discussion topics

  1. What is a lesson that you heard or learned from this week’s sermon?
  2. Of the three parables found in Luke 15, which one stood out to you? Which one did you have questions about? Which one helps you see God’s love for you the best?
  3. When you think about God, what do you think about?  Describe in detail (and you are going to have to be honest here) who you think God is.  Is He a mean, angry and vengeful God looking to punish sinners?  Does He put you in time out when you do something wrong?  Is He elusive until you do all the right things?  Is He something else?
