Pastor David kicks off the Superman of the Bible with an in-depth look at Boaz, a kinsman redeemer.Scripture: Book of Ruth

Discussion Topics:

  1. What aspect of this past Sunday’s sermon/story of Boaz stood out to you the most?
  2. Pastor David said that sin takes you father than you want to go, keeps you longer than you want to stay, and costs you more than you want to pay. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?
  3. We discovered that there were two men that faced a famine, Elimelech and Boaz. Elimelech fled from God to seek what was best in his own eyes while Boaz stayed faithful to the positioning and promises of God. Who are you most like? Why? What do you run to or what keeps you grounded?
  4. Ruth 2:12 says, “May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.” We see that the very prayer that Boaz says over Ruth is the very thing he does for her. How often should we be the answer to prayer for someone else?
