The School of Hard Knocks – It’s Not Up to Me

1. In your walk of faith sometimes we doubt God and still He shows up for us.  Where in your life have you doubted God and He pulled through?  How did that make you feel when He pulled through for you?  How did it feel to doubt him?
2. God has a vision for your life, but there are times when we take (our lives/ the vision) into our own hands.  Most times this does not work in our favor.  God is known to throw us a bone here and there.  Share a time where you took God’s vision into your own hands and he threw you a bone.
3. In Pastor Manny’s interview, part of his story referenced Matthew 14 where Jesus provides more than enough for the crowd of 5000, from very little.  Share a time in your life when Jesus provided for you when you had very little. Or a time when he provided just enough.
4. Pastor Manny stated that “God cannot deny Himself,” What does this mean to you?
