Celebrating Victories & Progress

Remembrances are built in the journey. A memorial could have been set with a loved one passing away, a long term debt paid off or unfortunately through some of life’s greatest failures. Today, we talk about the importance of these places of remembrance and how valuable they are in seeing God’s faithfulness throughout the course of our existence.

Joshua 4:1-7

1. Is there a place in your life where you have a memorial stone built?  A place where God has met you in the past that you continue to remember and thank Him for?

2. After this week’s sermon, can you see the importance of not only building a place of remembrance for yourself but also for your children?  Take time to discuss this point.

3. Have you ever struggled with your faith?  What did you do?  Can you see the benefits of having memorial stones built so you always have a place to come back to in worship?  What memorial can you build today?
