Another way to ask this question, what are you under the influence of? What are the things that dictate your thinking, your speech, or the way you act?
A couple areas to think through:
- Entertainment
- Money
- Words that you speak
- Self worth
2. On Sunday Pastor David said that “Our thoughts determine our actions, our actions determine our habits, our habits determine our character, and our character determines our destiny. Is there an action that you need to change today in order to change your destiny?
Daniel 1:8 says, “But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.” What is your resolve today?
3. Take time to talk about the book of Daniel. What part of the story stands out to you? What did you 3. hear or learn for the first time after reading Daniel and/or heard on Sunday?
