We are in another week of looking at the three big questions in life: Why am I alive? Does life matter? And what is my purpose? This week we discuss the God-given purpose of worship. Worship is expressing your affection to God, focusing your attention on God, and using your abilities for God.

- The Bible says, “Because of God’s great mercy to us… offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to Him. This is the true worship that you should offer.” (Romans 12:1 TEV). What do you think it means to be a “living sacrifice?”
- Surrendering to God is not about losing, it’s about gaining. What will you gain by surrendering more of your life to God?
- Worship is expressing your affection to God, focusing your attention on God, and using your abilities for God. What is one thing you will do this week to become a better worshipper? Share your plan with the group so that throughout the week and in next week’s NavGroup you can help each other in this change.
- What’s one thing that has changed the way you think about your purpose so far in this 40 day spiritual journey?
